Wow, I was kind of in doubt it'd make a decent lite gaming rig for 1920x1080 with a dedicated video card. . .

Interesting,a mantle capable card would probably keep BF4 above 30fps. Those things seem fun to play with but their intended use somewhat overlaps with laptops.

hmm interesting, my 7850k bottlenecks my R9 270X (7870ghz rebrand) really bad that i lose 50% performance according to 3d mark when i used the same card on a i7 3770 and the R9 270X scores exactly the same as my GTX 670 where as with my i7 3770 it scored a fair bit more then the R9 270X

cpu bottleneck decreases as gpu bottleneck increases when you go higher resoltuions. Of course in a multiplayer battlefield game you will always be cpu bottlenecked unless you use something like Mantle.

thats just shifting the problem by shoving more load onto the GPU while FPS are capped by what the CPU can give, doesnt change the fact that the CPU isnt delivering so the net result is equivalent if not less frames at higher detail

Yes but you'll have higher quality with the same number or less depending on how high you set it of frames.
Clearly with the cpu bottleneck gone even these chips would do for gaming and if you want a 10W tdp you can go with the 1,3GHz part as it should consume only a little more than the a6-1450.

Wasn't 3D mark score also containing the CPU score? Or is it just a GPU-only score part in which you are losing 50%?

CPU bottleneck isnt gone, just shifted the attention else where, fame rate caps are still there.

im actually suprised when its said that it barely bottleneck a 6870 when my 7850k cant even deliver for my 270X

Did you even read my post? ^

The later of my post was focused on if even the weakest cpu wouldn't be a bottleneck in the future

With DX12 and Mantle the cpu performance will become less and less relevant for gaming.
