Hm perhaps I was too fast with my praise. At the same price point as these things you can get FM1 stuff, ~25 eur for A4-3400 and ~30 EUR for cheapest FM1 mobo. Granted it's 65W part. The AM1 mobo is two EUR cheaper but the cheapest CPU is few bucks more expensive so basically it's A4-3400 (2.7 GHz) vs Sempron 2650 (1.45 GHz). Only thing going for the AM1 socket is a bit lower power consumption. http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/931/AMD_A4-Series_A4-3300_vs_AMD_Sempron_2650.html
I believe A4-3400 would be a lightly better bottom-of-the-barrel gaming platform than this AM1 ?
Anyway - I still like AM1. I just have a soft spot for Semprons bcos of awesome bang for buck they have been of late. And this one is certainly interesting. Gives me an idea of building a suitcase PC with that with an ipad screen inside the suitcase as a display for this thing. If you throw in enough battery packs you could probably make it last good 24h on batteries - just put a layer of lithium bricks under the mobo
. Ipad screen is like ~ 7.5 W at max brightness. Although I believe they would not let me to board any plane in civilized world with that
