[Twitter] Mailbox for Android has arrived! - Page 2

Thread Starter
I liked the looks of it. It's so simple, but I discovered it doesn't behave as a "typical" email client, instead it creates a folder and works on top of the default gmail app. Do NOT want, Dropbox will always remain on my favorite app list though.

Still don't get why I'd even want to download this.. Does it have the ability to telepathically transmit my emails to my head while I'm sleeping or something?

Because otherwise the default Mail App that comes with Android is more than sufficient.

This was probably a good solution to iOS's lackluster email options at the time, on Android most don't need it so no thanks. redface.gif

They offer a free GB of dropbox space if you use mailbox for ios. I installed it but I have not seen any free space for installing this for Android. So I'll be uninstalling. That would be the only reason to install it as far as I can tell. As said by a few people earlier, the default gmail app works great.
