What mouse pad are you currently using and why? - Page 12

If you're using FPS, cm/180 or cm/360 is the better measure of sens, as "DPI" is arbitrary unless it's being used to move a mouse cursor across pixels with 1:1 settings (1 inch at 1920dpi = crossing a 1920 width screen)

I don't know about the stealth~

That's the thing, I don't want a 19" pad nor do I have the room for it. Heck a 8x10 pad would suffice, cause you're right I don't need to move my mouse much to move across the screen. I do want a fast pad though as my wrist gets tired easily due to my job history. Fast and durable pad is what I am looking for.

Saw the Stealth and was curious about it before I decided on the Taito.

Using the goliathus extended Speed edition
It looks good with my keyboard nd mouse, good for my gaming needs and most importantly it's easy to clean.I have washed it 2 times in washing machine with detergent powder in a laundry bag nd it comes out as it's new.Not a single thread pops out.

I use my wooden desktop. Mousepads always got gummed up and looked ugly, so I started working without one. With all the modern upgrades to mouse sensor technology- I haven't looked back, mouse-padless for over 3 years now.

Personally, i like fast mousepads. Currently i have an G-TF Speed and so far i love it.

Anyone has a Zowie Swift? How fast is it?

QcK Heavy with a G400 v2, it's still not fraying after ~4 years of moderate use and being scrubbed down every few months. smile.gif

I've asked other users and they all confirmed their pads are alike, it's not an isolated problem with few batches.
Edges were slightly frayed out of the box as well.
Most important it gets sticky with sweat, adding tons of static friction, specially to mice with wide feet.
Combined with it's lack of stopping, this makes for a pretty inaccurate pad.

@metal571 I play with a 45cm/360, I recently changed from a 42cm Hien to 32cm Qck for better control with my new feet. As much as it takes extra effort to pIay on a smaller pad, I actually find the added precision more useful than a bigger size, at least for CS. (btw qck+/heavy is only 3cm less in width than the talent, goliathus should be in that league as well)

I'm actually considering a func f-series 10 since I've read it's particularly good for micro movements. I just hope I can stop on it accurately! If it's more precise than the cloth pads I'll keep it's 38cm over a 45cm qck+ happily.

Strange I don't have any of those issues with the Talent, mine is used and it is barely frayed as well.

There are some bad batches out there on the Talent. You can look around and find some people that have pictures of varying thicknesses, some fraying, and even different shades of blue on the top cloth. Both of mine are different colors and thicknesses, but they are uniform unto themselves. So, no bumpiness or separation.
