Never got comfortable with the Hien (wrist always felt irritated).

I should note that I really, really despise the Talent's color scheme/graphic. It's freaking hideous and doesn't go with anything, ever. So I'll still whip out my QcK+ from time to time just for aesthetics since I'm OCD about things matching on my desk. I wish they made the Talent in a solid black with a smaller logo. Seriously, who came up with this hideous design?? I gotta say Artisan pads definitely look the best, at least to me.

Also have a Razer Goliathus 2014 Control on the way (needed to use my Newegg GC before the weekend). Not sure why I bought it since it's more hideous than the Talent.

Holy crap! We're like mouse pad twins. I went through almost exactly what you did and even landed on the same pad. I do swap between the QCK Heavy and the Talent, though. Also, throw a Zowie G-TF in the mix.

This is funny...for me it was Goliathus control 2nd ed., QcK Heavy, Talent. LOL

Just got my Razer Goliathus Extended Control in the mail today, and I gotta say, I am loving it so far. Not a big fan of the paint, but its no biggie, wish they had an all black one instead.

My previous one was a old Wal-mart mousepad with wristpad, it was good for a month, then it started to give out. The Razer Goliathus feels more better IMO, and I have better control honestly, and its long enough to fit my mouse, and keyboard in (I have a big desk lol).

Gonna try the XTrac Ripper XXL next and whatever else that Is good.

SteelSeries 9HD
Reason? As the review of CNET mentioned: "The 9HD is an excellent product that deserves a place on any gamer's desk."

Goliatus Speed Alpha is my current pad and it might be the best build cloth pad out there.

qck+ has too much fricition for me,
qck+ fnatic is good, but the edges fray, wich is so sad... frown.gif
the zowie g-tf speed is also pretty good in terms of glide, but is is so rough :S

Almost like me. First had a QcK +, then QcK Heavy, then the ZOWIE G-TF, back to a new QcK Heavy and now I'm using the white Talent. Very happy with the PureTrak. My friend have the Goliathus, don't know what edition but it felt somewhat like the ZOWIE pad. Didn't like the rough feeling of it.

WoW!Pad LFR48 11.5"x12.5", this pad is now 6 years old and closing on 7, I am about to retire it for it's replacement, the same pad ;-) Seriously the paper thin means even the large size is not an issue for use anywhere. The PVC based material makes it super easy to clean. This oad is still very usable and works great. The texturing has pretty worn off, the pad used to have a light grit and is now smooth but the pattern on the pad means the mouse still tracks perfect.

I think the Talent would work great for you.
