What mouse pad are you currently using and why? - Page 9

Razer Mantis Control, bought in 2008. Why? Because it's still largely intact except for some fraying on the sides, it's very large, the surface is decent and after 5 years I am kinda attached to it especially seeing as the Mantis is no longer made.

kinda wondering, what's the difference between the "QCK" and "QCK+" size alone?

I believe so

Qck+ is 45x40cm. The "regular" mats are not full size.

Right now I'm using the quick install guide that came with my mcp655, mostly because it works and I could not care less.

I have my 4th QcK heavy since 2007, and can't see myself ever transition to another one.
It's cheap and not a hightech product, but it is in my opinion the best product steelseries ever created.
it offers so much control and yet the static friction is almost zero compared to the friction you get while moving the mouse.
i also tried the qpad CT(garbage, with alot of static friction and too little control), puretrak talent(too much static friction, too little control), razer gol. speed(not bad, but too little control for my taste) and SS NP+(too little control, uncomfortable for the palm).

QcK Heavy, because Artisan Zero is not as big and comfortable. Love this huge, comfortable and consistent pad!

Qck Heavy, I've been using the same one for about half a year and I just tend to like the more controlled feel of the Qck over some of the other pads that I've tried.

Exactly my sentiments towards those mousepads.
I always come back to the Qck Heavy if I try something different. The Goliathus Speed doesn't feel too bad when you break it in, but it just doesn't wear in consistently so it feels weird. Puretrak Talent feels weird, it never feels consistent, like the glide can one day feel fast like a Goliathus Speed but the next day it feels slow like an Allsop Raindrop.

An Icemat coming up on 10 years now, i like the glide you get with a hard mousepad even if it's a bit hit and miss with optical mice. Other hardmouse pads just wear either the mousefeet or itself too quickly because of their rubberized tops. I have no smooth spots or anything of the like. It does eat up some mice feet, others seem just fine on it not sure why. I do have to clean it regularly as sweat and stuff you can easily tell when there is grime on it, but cleaning it with a wet cloth is simple and effective enough.

Difference between the G440 and Corsair MM400?
