Need budget build for BF4 @60fps - Page 13

The issue is that most people are leaving the OS out of the build price. Windows 8 is a critical part of the build, and it's $100. Without it, the build simply does not work. Windows 7 is not sufficient for BF4 to run at its best.

Anyone can cut corners and give someone a $650 build that plays BF4, runs hot, and risks their system's components from a subpar PSU possibly giving out. It takes guts to see the price restriction and still suggest a build with good, high-quality components. I think that's the biggest issue here.

No offense to the OP, but if you are going to be doing a build then you need to be a bit more serious about this. WE NEED A BUDGET. All this is doing is causing a lot of OT postings about which is better and benchmarks that may or may not be related to the subject at hand. You started a thread 2 months ago for a budget build and apparently never built the computer at that point. Again, you have posted a thread and I wonder if anything will come of it this time too. I understand that things come up and new computer builds can be put on hold. But if you are not even going to supply us with a budget then I , personally, consider you to be trolling the community. To simply say "I need a budget build to play BF4 at 60FPS as cheap as possible." is not enough. I could build you a system that will play BF4 for very cheap, but it won't last a week.
If you are serious about building a computer then make sure you supply the community with all the information. This includes:
BUDGET
BRAND PREFERENCES
LOCATION
NEED OF PERIPHERALS/OS(Keyboard/Mouse/Monitor/Operating system)
COLOR PREFERENCES(Heatsinks, cases and fans come in a variety of colors now)

Without the information above we can not properly help you and the result is what has happened to this thread. 12 pages of mostly crap and disagreements as to what can handle it and what can't with the occasional build thrown in.

I urge my fellow OCN brethren to avoid any and all future Build Recommendation threads unless the minimum of the information I listed above is supplied. I am tired of these kinds of threads that go on for what seems like for ever and nothing is ever resolved or the OP is left even more confused than before.
Agreed. Nuff said

Id just get a job and save up a couple days or a week and not buy a budget pc that your gonna replace in months.
Hell you could make 70 dollars a day on a minimum job. One day of work you could splurge the extra money on a good CPU or GPU.
