Huh?!?! The Save button is for saving your SETTINGS, NOT for when you open a program or a window! Just click Start, enable the option to start with Windows, click, Save, click Close, and then enjoy. This program does not require you to do anything else, except for using the keyboard shortcuts that you have set in the program (either default or whatever you want). This program couldn't be easier to use. It's so easy, the most computer-illiterate person on the planet should be able to use it.
Ok. Click the Save button. Did you see how it says that your SETTINGS were saved?
(you should practice slowing down and focusing on what you're reading when you're reading instructions - if you have music going or the TV going or some other form of a distraction going, then TURN IT OFF)
