GPU only Watercooling

Hey Guys, figured I post straight into the Nvidia forums. I own a evga gtx 880 classified. Super awesome card, however I think I've come to my limits with the air cooler. I would like to build a custom watercooling loop for just my video card, using the EK 78 Classy water block. This would be my first water cooling endevour and honestly I don't know where to begin. I know a lot of people here have been doing this for a good minute now and would like some advice on the parts I would need to make this happen. Thanks again thumb.gif

Do you mean GTX 780 or 880M?

Oh, lol I need to start proof reading my posts, it's the GTX 780 Classified edition. This is the block I'm hoping to use

However it's just a matter of figuring out the rest.

Thought as much, I am actually looking at getting a 780 soon! smile.gif

As for water cooling it, start by looking at standard watercooling guides, or see youtube for GPU water cooling. You need all the standard equipment such as a pump, reservoir, tubing, radiator. It is the same as CPU cooling except you use GPU waterblocks, you can also include your CPU if you wanted to.

As I said, read into some already made guides as they are far more constructed than my post here biggrin.gif Good luck water cooling!

Thank you for the help Sir! I went online and found a few manufactures that make a Rad/pump/res combo:
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/20842/ex-rad-624/Swiftech_MCR220_Drive_Rev3_Series_Heat_Exchangers_w_Integrated_Pump_and_Reservoir_-_Bare_No_Pump_MCR220-DRIVE-B-R3.html?tl=g30c107s1076&id=xwmHYhSj#blank

If I go this route and the EK water block, all I would really need is tubing, coolant, and a couple fans and tadda! or at least I think so smile.gif

Don't forget fittings to attach the tubing to the blocks securely! Snorkle.gif
