I have said this before and will say it again, I would be more terrified of the common cold than a zombie Apocalypse.
I'm talking about the slow moving, dumb as a rock, one track mind type of zombie. Ya know, the kind you could have a field day with, with only a baseball bat. They just don't interest me. Making them run faster or quicker at moving does increase the risk I suppose, but it's still just another stupid, brain dead zombie in the end. Meh.
For me it's the strength of the player compared to the adversity you have to overcome. Lets face it, a dumb-as-a-rock zombie against a ( As it always is ) Player armed to the teeth with all sorts of weaponry, all the way upto Machine guns etc; The real struggle is resource management and thats just boring to me.
My other complaint is just like most other games, why is it always set in the U.S.? Surely a more "Low-tech" civilisation or one where firearms weren't as preverlant would be more immersive and add to the tention? Still my GF loves Zombie games but once you've hit one zombie in Dead Island ot Left 4 dead you've pretty much hit them all.
As for the MMO, there is nothing I hate more than having tons of people running around fighting for all the resources. I Prefer a challanging single-player or Co-op experiance to alot of faceless people with stupid names who only use you for the sake of what you can do.
