Microphone to Pair w/ my Headphones + Amp & Dac - Page 2

No one's ever complained about my awful $7 mic when I use push to talk. IMO, just go with something cheap but functional and use push to talk.

Depends on who you're talking to. I complain constantly about other people's crappy mics, and don't like playing regularly with someone with a bad mic.

I agree completely. I'm nearly always in a skype call when on my computer and it is extremely problematic if someone has a mic with static, tons of background noise, or that picks up their breathing. I'm not asking for top tier voice reproduction, just simply a decent mic that limits the background noise as much as possible. As I said, it's mainly just background noise from my television on low, a small fan, and my keyboard. I've seen some mics, such as the one on my Sennheiser headset, which only receives sound on the side where it mounts in front of your mouth. I haven't had anyone complain THAT MUCH about background noise, but I've had better and the main problem with it is that it makes my quiet breathing sound as if I'm blowing into the mic on purpose. lol
