i bet this is an intel conspiracy since they know all the best chips come from costa rica.

this is a Test & Assembly facility,
no CPU's were actually manufactured there, just packaged.

Sad news for the locals though.

This. All your Ivy/Haswells are made in OR, AZ or Israel and the die is put on the pcb/package at Costa/Malaysia.
