MOBO help?

I just put my new build together and at first the power went on no problem. I went up stairs to eat and I come back down to turn the computer off and then turn it on so I can config the BIOS. I hit the power button and no power. I tried almost everything to get this PC to power up again and nothing. Thier is a green light on the motherboard that is illuminating right next to the 24 pin main power cable, which is the standby power LED. I jumped the PSU so it is good because it booted. I did this when the PSU was out of the case and not connected to anything, so looks like the PSU is good to go. It must be a MOBO problem. Any suggestions?

have you tried resetting the CMOS jumper. I know ... you shouldn't have to do this , but you never know... it generally fixes a lot of problems. BTW- what CPU cooler are you using? I don't see one listed in your specs .... without one, that OEM CPU will shut down in a heartbeat ( one hopes... otherwise it might burn up like a satellite on re-entry).

I have a ultra cpu fan, it is top of the line. One thing I did forget to mention in regards to the PSU, is the front fan facing the inside of the case only comes on, not the one at the back of the case when I jump it. Is this normal?
