Well that depends, is the gigabyte card using a reference pcb? if so it can overclock higher, easier using just software. The asus card must be hardmodded to gain voltage past 1.21v so in theory a reference card can overclock much higher than an asus card if hardmods are strictly off limits.

Having had two of the Asus cards I would recommend them from personal experience. The Asus cards are very quiet IMO.

I doubt it matters. Right now my gigabyte over clocks well it idles around 35c peaking at 65c with an average of 58 or so under a demanding game. Those are pretty cool temps.
From reading the Gigabyte seems a good little ground between silence and performance.. I am swaying towards the GHZ edition now I think
post #18 of 23
I have the Windforce GTX 780GHZ edition. Cool and quiet. Idle temp right now is 26c. Has never gone over 55c when gaming. Comes overclocked out of the box. Very happy with it so far. thumb.gif

I'm saying go with the Classy. It's very quiet and performs incredibly well too.

Classy certainly performs the best out of the bunch with the exception of the lightning, which falls behind in the memory department on most cards.
