Kind of excited for this because I love open world games, but Ubisoft is pretty good at crapping up games. So heres to hoping!

Not knocking it though because it's obviously a better investment though I would change some parts around but I was just stating the cons.

A blu ray drive can be added for $50 which is overpriced as Sony is keeping their prices locked down on them so most people use DVD drives which are cheap as chips. Also having a large hard drive to instantly find your movies games or music is a hell of a lot easier than swapping discs in and out. Crappy drivers? In my 12 years of PC gaming I have yet to run into any "crappy drivers" for any of my hard ware. Unoptimized games? Games have run butter smooth for me, except the few ones that are known to have issues (BF4, Rome Total War 2, etc.) which I avoid as I don't impulse buy game upon release. Yes there is the problem with games being DRM locked which is why PC games go on sale a lot quicker and a lot cheaper than console games do and that is when you buy them.

If you remember XBONE had plans for much worse DRM when it was first announced and they did a complete 180 on that idea after all the negative press and feedback. Who knows, the code could still be in the XBONE's OS and they could send a simple update out and do what they planned to do.

You mention portability, just grab a mini itx case and board and smaller cooler, and bam, portable gaming PC:

I don't know people keep saying there's a difference between this and the ps4 footage, but I'm just not seeing it. Im sure it will be better and ill be playing it at 1440p but I dont feel its up to par with what was shown at e3 2012, that may be due to the combination of night and rainy weathe shown at e3 2012 but still can't help but feel a little dissapointed

I can, once again, distinguish 2 main groups of people who hate or see nothing special about the gameplay of games like LTOU, and those are:

Group 1: Hardcore Xbox fanboys.
Group 2: Console haters.
I don't know why that pattern, but most people hating on those games have never given well foundations on their opinions and the truth always comes out by itself.
TLOU has a decent storyline, great voice acting and believable human interactions. The problem lies in the gameplay that offers nothing new. Gameplay is something unique to video games and this is where most console exclusives fail to deliver anything new(aside from Nintendo games). I'd even go as far as saying the most innovative console exclusive after Wii Sports this past generation was GOW. It basically took Killswitch's mechanics as a basis, polished them and transformed the third-person shooter genre. This game deserves all the praise it gets. Uncharted is a joke.

Total: $1248. More than 3 times the cost of a PS4... and that's not even a futureproofed PC, considering the 760 is not even nearly to be the best on the serie and that the CPU is more than 3 years old.
No need to make a build that doesn't even make sense. My current non-upgraded rig was worth less than your suggested build and slaughters it.

And I never said console gamers slow down the development of video games. I said manufacturers do. I have absolutely nothing against console gamers as I still consider myself one and all my friends are on console. I simply think if the 360 and PS3 hadn't hung around for 7 years, we'd have more advanced games and a decent looking Dark Souls II. Instead we're stuck with compromised games because PS3/360 overstayed their welcome.

Edt: Oh and you know another advantage PC's got that I totally forgot to mention? You can play old school games without needing the old hardware. I can go back to Quake or Half Life if I want. That's no longer possible with PS4 and even with the Xbox 360, it was limited.

Kike...

This is what happens when you give someone who thinks they know more than they really do a keyboard and an Internet connection.

I noticed the same thing. It just seemed amplified when scanning in slow motion. It wasn't smooth at all. What's funny about it is that the same type of stutter was seen when close up on the character as it was over the landscape. I would have thought it would be smooth out when close up on the character. Here is a perfect example of a game that would benefit from a close to metal approach API. Unfortunately, we are left with just a few pieces of eye candy, sigh.

Overall I like the game. One thing I don't like is once installed I haven't found a way to uninstall it. Even if deleted it can still auto log with previous user name/pass. My problem with that is where is Uplay getting that information from?

That or you can just buy a laptop. If you don't mind the price you can even get a powerful laptop such as Aorus X7.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3qSta

That is only twice as expensive as the PS4 and less than twice as expensive than an XBONE and will outperform both of them for years to come thumb.gif

Haha, I didn't read the AM thing, what a noobie haha. I think you're saving too much on the case, for a PC gamer; you know you simple don't build such a beautiful PC inside that sweet potato. Also the Windows Home Edition is not worth it. At least you should have put the Professional Edition like I did it makes more sense IMO. That power supply will barely handle a GTX760 and if you want to overclock it, you're pretty much dead, not to mention it's less than 0 futureproof.
