He is correct,most mobo/vrm blocks are restrictive,1 manufacturer is not the whole game.
However restrictive is a broad term,restrictive compared to other blocks...sure. Restrictive to the point of harming overall performance...Nope,unless its one of ASUS hybrid nonsense blocks.
