How about reading the whole thread?

And he did also correct himself later on.

As IT-expert i ment computer programming and making code. Doesnt necessary mean that i'm expert on building computer, but i don't see anyway how that PSU is causing my problems RIGHT NOW.

My last conclusion now is just my CPU is just too bad to run games at high-ultra or even some on medium, and i don't mean new games. But some games like Most Wanted was bad, and some games work well like titanfall. My computer has costed 1,100e give or take. I can run World of Wacraft at high settings. I dont really want to spend more money on PC but im strongly thinking buying hole new motherboard and Intel processor. My experiance with this computer has been nightmare overall, had more than 6 Bsods in 1 day, my computer is temperature is way too high, even i have 4 extra coolers, and my ram usage is always over 50%. My rammap is using 35% unknown recourses alltime, reinstalled my windows but didnt help, no viruses.

I work as IT-expert / computer sience or what you call it in english, anyway im deffinetly not bad with computers, this isnt my first computer iv build but deffinetly will be the last! maybe il change my carrieer to be a chief or start repair cars smile.gif . If you had time to read this, i thank you! hope anyone else has experiance like this!

Always been Computer fanboy, maybe i should buy a console and play Call of Duty with bloody tears on my eyes

My specs:
- GIGABYTE GTX760 2GB GDDR5
- ZALMAN Z9 U3 3x120MM FAN CONTROL
- AMD FX-8320 8-CORE 3.5G 16M AM3+ 125W
- ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+
- Maxcube Arsenal 900W 80PLUS Silver ATX 2.3
- G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB (2x4GB) 1600mhz
- Thermalright HR-02 Macho rev.a
- My harddrive isnt anything i should mention about, now when in typing this thread, im going to run harddrive check at home if its broken.

do the following:
1 - enter BIOS and under advanced tab select CPU options.
2 - disable all and every option, assuming you will see "cool 'n quite" "C1" "C6" "HPC" "SVM" "APM" [some of these options like SVM won't affect anything but you won't use SVM anyway"
3 - Disable turbo core technology
4 - press f10 to save and exit the BIOS
5 - once you boot back up, download AIDA64 or anyother CPU monitoring software you want, activate cpu throttle monitoring in the preferences and click on the monitoring icon in toolbar afterwards, head over to "statistics" tab and make sure your CPU clock for min max and average are at 3.5ghz.
6 - run your game and play for a while
7 - exit your game and now look at your min cpu clock "there is also the clocks tab there you can visually see a graph how often your CPU was throttling.

if it turns out that your CPU was throttling, which probably is the case.
the power delivery unit on the motherboard is weak so is your PSU, also the 970 chipset is not the best to go with Piledriver. get a 990Fx chipset

Thread Starter
Thanks for the answers !

People are so confused about me saying "it-expert", I actualy googletrasnlated that and it came out as it-expert.
I'm not "expert" with computers, my job is typing the code and programming, i'm finnish so my english isnt perfect!

I'm pretty convinced now that il change the PSU, and falcon il try that when i get home. Thanks for help !

hey man btw i jumped from a e8400 at 3.0ghz to a fx 6300 and even my dual threaded game run better ( Rigs Of Rods )

Advantage the game use 2 core the 4 other can host the server ( the server use only 2 core too.. oh the 2 other can play another game like wow because there are about the same as a e8400 that can max out the game biggrin.gif

Amd fx overclocked are monster in benchmark power monster but very powerfull..

When you use them in a crappy 2 core game like world of warcraft and expect to play maxxed out without dip that just stupids..

a i5 will do the job 2 million time better and you can even add a ssd and mod the distance view to see far far aways...

Laptops achieve 60FPS in SC2 all the time. Without including some *conditions* for those claims it is pretty meaningless. Get the unit counts soaring in high player count games and even an i7-4770K@5ghz drops to 30-40FPS regardless of GPU. The conditions that bring Haswell @ 5ghz down to 40FPS in SC2 will bring a stock clocked FX -8320/6300 to 15-20FPS.

WoW will do 150FPS on a stock clocked AMD rig, bring it into a RAID and it dips to 20FPS, All CPUs suffer these CPU related performance dips in this game, PDs weak per-thread performance means deeper FPS dips compared to the competition. It is what it is.

I'm not sure why it is surprising to hear me say that PD has per-thread performance from 2008. Wolfdale was released January 2008. A Core2 core's 6 execution ports provide access to more execution resources than a PD core (The mixed function core2 ports provide access to approximately 3xALU + 2xFPU + dedicated store/read ports on each core).

The only advantage to a PD core over core2/nahalem in terms of performance today is support for a few newer instructions, none of which will help anyone who is trying to run these games. If we compare the pros and cons of Core2 architecture to PD architecture it becomes obvious that PD is late to the party with a lot of it's features. They have a lot in common in terms of vector execution latency, penalties, etc. A PD module has a more robust front end servicing a core and better system memory access, while core2 has much lower cache latency. These issues sort of become a wash, and we wind up with a difference in IPC/C that points to execution resources as the primary source of the variance. PD overcomes its limitations with higher clocks, resulting in IPS/C that is very similar to Core2/Nahalem era CPUs.

A Core2Duo ~3.2ghz will run many of these lightly threaded games with the same performance as an FX-6300/8320 at stock clocks.

+1.

yea, these cpu are better for more modern games. for stuff like wow you should just get an i3.

I run Most Wanted with my sig rig and never drop below 60 fps so i think the games caped at 60fps and your system should be faster then my sig so it sounds like a driver issue to me i would try reinstalling the nvidia drivers because Most Wanted isnt a very demanding game smile.gif

the NFS series is just like the COD series the last 10 games are the same game just new maps basically no real change in visual quality smile.gif

All good bro! I still don't think some of the guys should have attack you like that but I am sure we can help you get it sorted. Also like I said. Try reseating the RAM as well and cleaning out the slots. Dust in the RAM slots can cause issues as well
