Phobya Nano-G 12 Silent PWM = GOOD or bad ?

So currently I have some GELID Wing 12 PWM Blue LED and been thinking a change of colour is needed, plus they don't go well with my green coolant kookoo.gif

So I have been eyeing the Phobya Nano-G 12 Silent PWM Red LED Fans. I would also be changing my coolant to either Mayhems X1 UV Red or Mayhems Pastel Red, along with Primochill red compression fittings.

Now the Gelids are good, slightly noisy but move air, the LED's look great, but at 5am the LED's are blinding.

So what are people's experience with the Phobya's ?

They are good fans once they are running sub 1000PRM. The LEDs can be turned off so that will help with your sleeping., it may be a little fiddly turning them off.

You will see little to no performance difference changing fans.

No one else has experience with these fans?

I don't have any experience with the fans but have you thought of getting non-LED fans (which are usually better) and then getting something like this http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=72_107_1246_921&products_id=29386 for your lighting? My case currently doesn't have a window but I'm planning on getting a windowed side panel for it and that is what I have planned.

Have considered doing that but I was wanting some red LED fans for a complete image.
