Proposed TEC Build

I think it is time to finally try my hand at TEC cooling, I've been a long time lurker but I think now I would like to get into it more.

Here is my proposed setup:

~500W of radiators for hot side, currently I have a EX240 and EX280 I may need to upgrade but I will see as I am using Scythe 3k RPM fans as well as Yateloon HS fans, more than likely I will attempt to get, or produce if I have to, a TEC controller and fan speed controller, something similar to the Tbalancer.

TECs: 4x CTE 19911-5M31-28CZ

Chiller: 3x62mm chiller

CPU Block: 1x62mm block

Pump: TBD

PSU: Supermicro 850W PSU with a single 12v rail at 66 amps

My flow guide is planed as such:

Radiators -> Res/Pump -> Chiller HS -> Rad

Chiller Cold side -> Res/Pump -> GPU -> CPU TEC-> Chiller Cold side

I would love to hear y'all thoughts and opinions for this my goal is to be able to have sub ambient temperatures and to attempt to reach at least 5Ghz direct Die on a 4770k.

Krow is finishing up the beta model for his controller, going for $150 and will do dewpoint proximity and can be set to achieve a specific temp. Were i you id insulate the everliving frack out of the waterblock/tec then use that at full swing while stresstesting, check the temps your getting on the direct die tec and set a controller to always try and achieve a a degree or two above that above that, then set the chiller loop to run according to.loop temps as opposed to coldside temps and set it for dewpoint proximity.

As to radiator space Id just grab a phobya supernova 9.140mm and call it a day.

Be sure to use some Ethylene glycol in the coolant, even if you don't plan on bringing the temps of the coolant near freezing the coldside of the chiller can frost over insulating the cold block, or worse clog the loop entirely.

Just my :2 cents: or perhaps a few more than that. XD

It's always nice seeing people jump on the TEC boat. I'm waiting for krow and fox to finish a few things with some stuff they're gonna sell then I'll be pulling the trigger myself.
