Civ V isn't on PS3, you're thinking of Civ Revolution which is to Civ V as Battlefield 2: Modern Combat was to plain jane BF2: A console game somewhat based off of the PC exclusive original.

Ah true. You are right. My bad.

However why aren't those games being ported to consoles? a Turn based strategy game can easily be played with a controller. Sux really mad.gif

Anyway I found my own answers. The developers want to stick to the PC and they don't plan to release any Civ to consoles. I actually congratulate them. PC community does need these kinds of developers

Endless Space + Civ 5 ?

I really hope this will be a successful spiritual successor to Alpha Centurai, looks pretty promising.

They play even better with a mouse...

Why would anyone want to play this game from a TV anyways. Civ 5 works great on PC, and Tablets. Kinda wonder why they never made a android or iOS version, but love it on my windows 8 tablet.

Civ games are so fun, Civ 5 still has me playing on and off. Can't wait for this next game.

That looked awesome Sid. After all these years you are finally going to drag me into this genre. And don't think for a moment I don't remember that jab you made at first person shooters. I may still have that issue of PC Gamer magazine to throw in your face. but I'm glad to see you are still rocking the RTS scene. Also answer your emails. Sometimes.

I could have MORE than enough jabs at FPS's if you want ? tongue.gif

Wouldn't it be TBS, Turn Based Stratergy, rather than a RTS? Still I always found Civ 5 rather limiting when it came to the epoch's / techs. Then again my fav was Call to power 2 and Alpha Centauri!

Sure just hope they fix the freaking long turn times. I mean even Civ 4 does better than 5 fix it since it really makes the game less fun.

I still love the game, its just that Sid Meier games have a soft spot in me.
