Where is the raid controller?

Solved: http://www.overclock.net/t/1481670/where-is-the-raid-controller/20#post_22120392

How do I set up raid for 2 HDD's on a asrock z75 pro3 prior of the OS booting up? If I set raid in UEFI, boot the system, press/hold ctrl-i , nothing happens, except my OS boots up. If I remove the OS disk, redew above nothing happens.

My old intel board I was able to access the raid control setting prior of operating system starting by enabling raid in bios and hitting ctrl-i.

Setup your SATA config in your BIOS as RAID

Then it looks like you have to use the IRST utility to setup RAID on this board:

Check out the RAID manual: ftp://66.226.78.21/manual/raid/Z75%20Pro3/English.pdf starting at page 6.

Only thing I have in my UEFI is CSM and that is to enable or disable it.

My UEFI dont even look anything like in this pdf settings n everything.

I dont have rapid storage technology in my uefi either.

I'm literally stuck. Board says it supports raid but doesnt give raid option like ctrl i on old intel boards.

Yea... but I have never touched that board. So if that doc is incorrect, I am lost!

Did you set this to Raid? > Advanced \Storage Configuration (was that there at least?)

Did you go under the BOOT menu and set that stuff? It has to be there... standard on most boards.

Under the Advanced, even I have IRST option....

You really don't have this under the Advance tab in the BIOs???

strange!
