Looking for loop setup

Thread Starter
Hey guys I'm relatively new to water cooling. I just bought a corsair 900d for an X79 build (Not my first build) and I'm looking at doing a Extreme water cooling setup. I'm want to do a 480mm radiator on the bottom a 480mm on the top of the case a 360mm in the front and a 120mm radiator in the rear So a total of 4 radiators. I want to cool the cpu and the gpu's. I have a 4930k processor. And 4x power color R9290x. But need a loop design. thanks for the help .biggrin.gif

When you pull in air into one rad, and push that same air out through an.other rad, you are basically recycling rad air.
And that recycling will severely cripple your second rad down to almost nothing.
Migh as well forget that second one compketely.

I'd keep all tge rads you have, except for the one in the roof.
Use exhaust case fans there instead.

Here is what our water cooling gure, Martin of MML, has to say about rad airflow direction:

You don't want to recycle air through rads..thats a goo way to loose most of their efficiency.

Bottom line, you need fresh cold air entering each radiator. Recycling already warmed air is bad juju..biggrin.gif
