I have never ran a triple monitor set up before. I have streteched to 2 monitors at most so do not know if this is possible or not. Whwat I want to do, is have my triple monitors on my desk, and a tv mounted on the wall above them. Can I have all 4 plugged in at once, and still have the flexability to switch between the triple set up and the single tv monitor?

You can pretty much run as many monitors as you want. I believe Windows will support up to 64 monitors.
You just have to have an output from a video card for each. Note that most video cards won't support outputs from all their outputs at once, some will. For four monitors you'd likely need two video cards.
