And there is one more thing you could try.
1200 rpm for a 3000 rpm fan is about 5V.
So check if your fans will start and run using the red 5V wire instead of the yellow 12V wire from the PSU.
If they start on the 5V wire, you could get a SPDT on/on switch like this to flip from 12V and 5V.
That will only give you two speeds but for 2$, ya can't beat that price.
But you have to make sure the fans can start on 5V first.
And if you want to install two switches instead, I can show you how to get 5V/7V/12V as well.

I dont run high speed fans anymore and if I did go back to them, they would be the 38mm fans rather than the 25mm.
I had 6 3000Rpm Kazes on 2 360 GTX rads, best cooling I have every had and probably one of the cheapest setups.

Thread Starter
That setup sounds sweet @B NEGATIVE

Last question:

My fan controller is powered via two 4 pin molex. It says you can use two molex for max performance but just connecting one of the molex plugs on the controller works as well.

My question is do you think I personally would be able to use just one of the molex connectors for my 2 AP 30's and a super low watt cheap case fan. Or do you think I do need to have both molex cables plugged into my PSU (I have both plugged in now to be safe before I got a response)

Thanks
