I had a pair of logitech Z-2300 and the bass on that set was killer but the speakers where very low quality cracked and poped right out of the box... Im looking for some bookshelf speakers with more clarity and some mild bass what would you guys suggest at $150?

my brother owns a pair, these are bass heavier, they can be cranked up and sound very good. havent spent too much time with them but they definitely sound better than my logitech x-540s. these speakers are one of the most recommended speakers

They just seem a lot like my old pair of z-2300 bass heavy with low quality speakers I can't speak for the promedia set but that's exactly what my Z-2300's where I couldn't turn those up more then half way before It starting cracking and distorting.

these speakers do not crack/distort at high volume. you should go in store and test them (crank em up at best buy) hehe
