Weird lines at top of LED monitor

I have a Samsung 24" LED monitor. Exact model:URL=http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/LS24B240KL/ZA]http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/LS24B240KL/ZA[/URL]

It is connected to an A8-5600K AMD APU with an MSI FM2 motherboard with the older style VGA cable. I have tried 2 different cables. I have the very latest AMD beta drivers for my APU, but it also happened with the older, "official" drivers.

My problem is, there are some odd lines that appear on the very top of the screen (and sometimes but not as often, towards the bottom). To the best of my knowledge, the resolution and refresh rate are set to 1920x1080 at 60hz.

Here is a very short video of me moving the mouse around to parts of the screen to show how the line changes based on where my mouse cursor is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjmpHsstnSc&feature=youtu.be

If anyone could provide me with some information as to why my monitor is behaving this way, I would be greatly appreciative.

Most likely GPU artifacts, not your monitor. Try clearing the drivers and wiping what's left with driver sweeper, then re-downloading and re-installing from the AMD website. Do not use beta.

Strychnine69, I had a driver installed for my monitor, I could not determine if it was the right one or not, but I "uninstalled" my monitor in Device Manager and the problems have ceased to exist. I sincerely thank you though!
