Zowie FK (2014 edition) Tracking When Moving Fast Issues

Thread Starter
Hello. I just bought the Zowie FK, I'm using a QcK+. When I move the mouse quickly in game I notice it doesn't track properly. It's fine when moving it slowly. I'm currently using 2300 DPI at 1000mhz because I heard that that is its native configuration and it is apparently the best to use?

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this, or is this normal for this mouse?

Thanks.

Pretty vague information. "It doesn't track properly" can mean anything.

Depends on what quick is for you. It should track fine up to 3.5 m/s, at least it did for me on the same pad.

2300 at 1000hz caps out at 128 counts per poll on my fk14, whereas 2300 at 500hz caps out at 512. I suggest trying 500hz.

Well basically what I mean is, if I move the mouse fast, say under normal circumstances it should do a 360 degree turn per 50cm movement, but if I move it quickly it may only do a 240 turn for example, almost like the sensor has stopped tracking against the mousepad during the movement.

I'll give that a try, do you know what mouse button to hold whilst plugging it in to set it at 500hz? Does anyone else have any input?

Edit: Apparently it's top left thumb button.

What game? What sensitivity? If raw input is off and your resolution and framerate are both too low you can hit negative acceleration. That's what this is called. It may not be the mouse itself at fault here. I'm surprised no one mentioned that yet.

It's CS GO, and I have mousefix installed, sensitivity on 6/11 in Windows, acceleration turned off in both windows and ingame, and raw input on. Ingame sensitivity of 0.4
