Clear Tube or UV Green with UV Mayhems X1?

What looks better overall with the Mayhems UV Emerald Green X1 concentrate mix?
The PrimoFlex Advanced LRT; Crystal Clear tubing, or the Pearl Green?

I know the clear tubing makes it easier to see bubbles and stuff, but you also have that clear outline around the tube where the wall is, which looks better asthetically for a UV green look?

For UV effects coolants hands down, no competition. I've never been a fan of coloured tubing, as it is difficult to make it not clash with similar colours since it can't be dyed. When you factor in UV effects I just see it not blending in with the rig very well, but that's just my personal opinion as I think coolants or tubing should compliment the rig, not be it's highlight. So yeah, it's all just opinion but I'd say go with a coolant, and X1 is always my go to coolant.

Yeah I've gone with the Plexi D5 Vario, clear res, and clear tubing with the Mayhems X1 Emerald Green. Should look pretty sweet.

Thanks for the reassurances +rep

If you used Copper Sulphate in a previous setup with any of the same components flush it all pretty good. X1 won't gunk nor will the green dye fade from CuSo4 but CuSo4 really likes to eat away at UV effects. If you used Benzyl Chloride, that being PTNuke PHN, flush it REALLY well. Benzyl Chloride just obliterates dyes.

hi,

i used clear tubing as well with green UV coolant and all i can say is you can't go wrong with it...you can see the glow from the inside of the tube not the tube glowing itself which i think gives you a lot smoother effect than the tube itself.
