Adding a 2nd video card?

I currently own a Dell Optiplex 755 computer, I currently have a AMD Radeon 7700 Series, With 2 monitors connected via DVI. The computer does NOT have dual PCI-E slots and I want to run a 3rd monitor. This monitor will only be used mostly for my music player, Web pages and various other light-weight stuff. I was wondering if it would be okay or possible to add a 2nd video card in the PCI slot to hook-up a 3rd monitor? The current video card has like 3 connections, but it doesn't support a 3rd monitor apparently. Just 2.

AMD HD 7700 Series can support 3 screens. (Assuming it is reference)
And no you can't put a second GPU in the PCI slot.
Hope that helps clear things up a little.

Well, it turns out my specific GPU (Gigabyte Radeon 7750) can not support 3 monitors despite having several connections

Almost every-card has Eyefinity 2.0 support. Have you messed around with the CCC software?

Whenever I got into Eyefinity, Only my two main monitors show up and not my 3rd. It's a 100% working screen, I just pulled it off a working system.
