i just want to thank everybody for helping me here in the club and to let u know guys flashed my GTX 780 HOF with sky bios and i have unlocked volt up to 1.212 but i thought i have cherry pick chip but i was wrong coz with 1.212 i was able to clock my gpu 1306mhz and unfortunately there is artifacts as same as stock bios i was able to reach 1306mhz but only with 1.187v also with artifacts

My main concern was the locked volt and i updated to sky bios because i though with 1.212v i would be stable at 1306mhz but i am not lucky with my bad chip... frown.giffrown.giffrown.giffrown.gif When i was buying GTX 780 i was in a big fight and headache to choose between GTX 780 HOF and the GTX 780 Lightning and the difference in price was almost the same i dont know if my choice was wrong with HOF? maybe i should have bought the MSI GTX 780 Lightning? and btw my ASIC 65.4% but i think its not a reliable indicator for overclocking

Bad flash can get recovered easily. Not sure which bios you should use but get the one which is closer in number of your current bios.
You can PM skyn3t too asking the different between this 2 bios.

I am in a similar area with my 780s (EVGA ACX SC). In gaming I can only get a stable overclock of around 1190 mhz @ 1.212V without crashing. I don't think you made a bad choice at all, if you can get a stable 1275 ish out of your card, that's not too bad, IMO. Of course hitting the 1.3Ghz mark would be nice biggrin.gif

Good luck and glad we could help!

Thank for the info wink.gif
I tried to be stable with GPU 1215mhz and RAM 1650mhz with stock voltage is that considering a good chip? i mean what's the maximum clocks for GPU and RAM can achieve with stock voltage on stock bios???

Thats becuase you were already at 1.21+ voltage on the stock bios. There is easy voltage read point on the card you can see for yourself if you have a dmm wink.gif

how to read volt in my HOF ???? u mean with hardware like EVbot.....!!! what did u mean by dmm?

For the updated info on the stock bios and voltage with hyper boost button in game boost 1306mhz with tombraider stress test major artifacts then crash but with 3dmark no crash and minor artifacts
i found that im stable with 1254mhz target power 126 and voltage 1.187v offset mV63 but also with minor artifacts

I just want to know whats ur opinions in that result is it still cherry pick like galaxytech said about their HOF cards???
Dmm= digitel multi meter thats what you would use to read voltage without software.
But i dont think you should be sticking a probe around your card for some reason:D

Mine rocks at 1.22v 1340+ benching just as good as the 780 classy's i have tried wink.gif

I think the EVGA 780 Classy is the best 780 and has a lot of community tools for proper voltage control and external devices. The Ti Classy is also the best 780 ti and the Kingpin Classy is the best card period.
