Overcolck SLI GTX780

Thread Starter
Hi guys two days ago i had buy my second gtx 780, but i have different BIOS on each VGA cause i have different rev. of the same Graphic card (Gigabyte Windforce OC).

I used skyn3t vBios, and in one card i have base core clock on 906 MHz and 1006 MHz on the other one.

So my question is that: I can set different OC on each card with EVGA? or EVGA set the same OC on each card? And also if i set different MHz, SLI have some trouble or it works good?

Thank you in advance to all for replies smile.gif

You can overclock each card on his own. You have to disable Synchronize settings for similar graphics card and then you can set your clock on each card to what ever. As I remember it is an option you need to tick it in the settings.

EVGA Precision has options to over-clock both cards the same or separately.

As for whether over-clocking the cards exactly the same, this depends as each card can overclock more or less than others of the exact card!

I would start over clocking one card and get the max OC, then over-clock the second card. Over-clocking max to the exact values can either cause one card to be unstable or both, or could work just fine.
