Does anyone know if there is anywhere to purchase a Superflower Leadex PSU in the states or a vendor that will deliver to the US?

EVGA SuperNova G2 and P2 are rebrands of the Leadex but the 1200 watts Plat has not been rebranded yet. Do you even need 1200 watts?

Thanks for the response and yeah I need the power. It may be possible to get away with a 1000w but its cutting it close so I'd rather have the headroom of 1200w.

What do you need to power?

Just updated my current rig. I'm looking to add another R9 290, 240 rad w/ Corsair SP fans and i'll be replacing my UD3 MB with a UD7 w/ EKWB. Everything is also under a heavy overclock.

Even if you overvolt both your 290 cards you can still power all that with 1000 watts, if you are not going to overvolt you dont need more then 700-750 watts even with two 290 cards

Both CPU and GPU are overvolted so I pull a bit more power than stock. biggrin.gif Everything I've seen show R9 290's pulling around 350-400w under load with an overvolt.

I ordered a electricity usage monitor to see what my PC is pulling right now.

I would suggest to just go for the SuperNOVA 1300 G2, also a Leadex platform and readily available.

So I received my electricity usage monitor in the mail today. I ran some test with only my desktop connected and this is what I got.

3DMark 11/Prime 95

Idle is usually around 400W
Normal usage seems to be around 650-700W

If that is from the wall you need to take the efficiency of the PSU into it, So if your PSU has 85% efficiency you need to take 15% off that number you got.
If your PSU has 80% efficiency you need to take 20% off and if its 90% you need to take 10% off and so on
