Have a little money to blow, but what should I buy? - Page 2

Get rid of the OCZ main SSD, 1 TB Samsung SSDs were on sale for just under $500.

Kraken G10 bracket and a couple AIO coolers for your GPUs, loved the noise difference when I did that for my GTX670 (and SO much cooler). Otherwise I'd go with the 1TB Evo drive

You know, after I've seen so many hates on Razer and the fact I've never had any issues with them, and the reason I keep on buying them is because of how solid they are and how they are almost like a real cult. Anyways, that being said - you guys helped me limit down my options.

1. Samsung Evo 1TB drive (I'm an enthusiast, so something tells me to grab the 512gb Pro model, and I know, it won't make any differences outside of benchies) Hell, I have 2x GTX 680's and I play very few games, it's just the hobby I like throwing money at to make me Epeen bigger haaaa thumb.gif

2. New perhipherals, while my stuff is still solid - It really is the oldest stuff that I own.

3. Better headphones with amp/dac etc. I originally was looking at that, but I opted to buy my monitor instead, I was going to grab a pair of Phillips Fidelio X1 with an E017K to power them and attach a mic, and I do listen to tons of music as well, but I'm not sure how much of an audiophile I'd be. I'm one of those people, for example - You go buy the best Prime Steak in town after never having it before, and you cook it the best you've ever cooked it and it wasn't worth the 20+$ a pound that you had to pay, choice from wally world would of been just as good, lol. rolleyes.gif

I would put it into sound card and headphones. I was one of those guys who never cared about the audio and thought investing so much into it was stupid. It was hard spending allot of money on Sennheiser headphones and Titanium HD sound card as I'd never bought any headphones over $20 before, but now I'm glad I did.

I'll never go back to cheap headphones and not having a premium sound card again.

To me, now having my audio equipment for over a year it feels much more important than visuals of a game. I was playing elder scrolls online and I was sitting in a forest when it started raining and thundering, and it just sounded amazing with all the wildlife and birds in the background. I closed my eyes and it felt like I was there. No visuals will ever achieve the level of immersion I felt. It's the same way with movies.
