well the stock cooler is good for vram as the rear fan is directing air right over the top of the vram chips.
I have read nothing but bad about the liquid cooler you put on it as in it doesn't cool the vram chips.

The ARCTIC Accelero Hybrid II-120 uses a radiator, and the fans that are on it are attached to the motherboard PWM. So i control it from there and its always at max.

Edit: Idk why i said reservoir

yes but that liquid cooler has no fans over the vram chips, I have seen where users have mounted a small fan to the heatsink that is now on your vram chips. and I feel a vram fan is a must, your stock cooler was a better cooler for the vram anyway.

here is a thread on overclock.net about your liquid cooler and the biggest concern with everyone is that there is no fan on the gpu anymore.

edit: I just saw you were the last post on the thread so you already been there. doh.gif

yes but there was a fan blowing down on the vram chips.
if it was me I would mount a fan on the heatsink over the vram chips, or the pci slot fans you said you were going to get.

I had the same temps as I do now even with the fan blowing down air? Wish I had a snapshot to show you.

I'm either gonna order this:

or

That is awesome! Thank you!! Does your CPU cooler move up and down? Oh and do I need to buy one or two of the pci expansions slots to fit the fans?
