just want to know it is worth upgrading to a 7870 with what i have
The game is one of the most CPU dependant games out. It multithreads very well. You would be better off upgrading your CPU to at least a Q9550.

The comparisons I made were for single cards.

The reason I mention the new frame smoothing method is that it applies to both single and multiple card setups when using Mantle. Initial impressions from those who have seen it is that it does make for a better experience despite the sacrificed framerate.

How can they make this test fair? BF does not come with benchmark option :S]

The way they benchmark it was terrible (look at site). How long do they shoot the rock or what ever for? How many bullets?

Also NV's DX11 beating out mantle here, 780Ti still 11% faster at 1080p with DX11 than a 290X with mantle.

I dont see that on the benchmark :S
