Crazy enough, no. An older model had the option of a 7970.

On which page does it say it can take a 7970? Are you sure you didn't mix up the system specs on the second page?

That also is not the same product we are talking about here.

cant buy it, even if its listed, thats the issue and not only that its rare as hen;s teeth.

i dont think even the reviewers had a chance to look at it and tbh i highly doubt anyone actually managed to buy one.

yeh iris pro ones are available but not the same gaming class. no dedicated GPU and the rest of the brix line up are no different to the NUCs.

brix gaming stands out as its the only NUC like platform with a dedicated graphics for gaming

the only ones comparable and still a pain to get ( near impossible) are the asrock vision x series

http://www.asrock.com/nettop/Intel/VisionX%20Series/

for mobile 7850 and mobile 270x and the case is significantly larger then the brix but on the bright side it should be upgradeable a the cards uses MXM interface

this is a newer BRIX Gaming featuring Intel and NVIDIA instead of AMD like the one liked(the red one).
Also why can't u buy the red one? The green one isn't out yet but it will be.

you cant buy the red one because no one sells it and even if someone lists its not in stock or purchasable

there are alot of vaporware that are release and said to be available but never are when distributors wouldnt pick them up because they dont think they would sell well due to its niche target and region restriction.

Then blame wherever you're from as that seems to be your problem.

..So, 980Mhz with a boost clock of >1033Mhz versus 800Mhz?

The GK104 GPUs compare well to Tahiti until you get into OCing simply because they're clocked so much higher while being slower...Not that the 760 is a slouch of a GPU or anything, I'm glad Gigabyte are using GK104 for this simply because Tahiti is a bit too warm for this small of a case.

I'm guessing you're one of those people that demands 60fps minimum, then? Because my HD7950 maxes out everything, I'm only considering an upgrade simply because Skyrim goes below 30fps occasionally with mods and I'm considering going to Linux where nVidia's drivers are far, far better.
