My HIS 295x2 is now installed and running great. I guess some are you are wondering how I got a retail version this soon. Was sheer luck, smile.gif Newegg had the Powercolor and HIS version on the site saying "Coming Soon". Tuesday night around 9PM EST I looked and sure enough the HIS version was available. I immediately purchased it and did overnight shipping. Not sure how many Newegg had but they were sold out within 1 hour. Now in my system and running great.

In my opinion this is AMD's best designed reference card ever.

First impressions:
Very solid feel, All metal shroud. Does NOT Droop in my system
The 120MM radiator/Fan installed with no problems.
With full load - Very Quite
The red lighted fan will add a RED glow inside of your system. I have a RED theme so great in my system.
The word "RADEON" is also lighted RED.

Currently I am at 1085 on both cores and a very healthy 1700 on the memory (Hynix Memory). Only overclocking in CCC. Both firestrike and Heaven Valley are stable at 4K resolution.

After a 15 minute run in valley temps never exceeded 72C.

Technically, you could put a push/pull setup on that and improve temps a little more... no?

Thought about doing just that. Running cool as is. I didn't want to extend the radiator/fan assembly more into my case.
Temps are great. Low 70's even running 4K benches.

Hope you are as happy as I am Cool Mike! It's an INSANE card! How did you get it early?

Very happy. Wonderful card. I explain in the first paragraph on the big post with pics. Was pure Luck.

Guess I'm the first retail owner, You were the first. thumb.gif

Been benching the card off and on for the last 3 hours. Seems to be settling in. Running 1100 core and 1700 memory now with no issues in valley at 4K. Very solid card and the 290x GPU cores love the cooler environment. biggrin.gif

Thats a pretty monster score on that card... 18000 is a BIG number with a mild overclock... I'd like to see it about 1200 :-D
