Newegg has the rebate, but they also won't allow you to return the card should you change your mind.

Did not know this! Thank god for Amazon! I'm still debating if I should go for a 2nd 295x2. I currently run trifire with xfx 295x2 + sapphire 290x. I don't have any more space for fans, so if I buy a 2nd 295x2 I also have to buy a new case

When purchasing from Newegg, I'd recommend ALWAYS read their return policy for the item.

I usually don't order from them because of this practice. I'd rather miss out on a $30 rebate to have Amazons return policy.

Ummm, my immediate response to that would get me another infraction.

So I'll just do this:

lol

I sold most of my 290Xs when they irritated me one day, I was running 280Xs for a while, then I went down to a single 290 which is what I'm running now. Got these as a sort of post birthday/Christmas present to myself, figure my tax return will pseudo pay for most of it anyway, got a great deal on'em, just gotta figure out how the heck I'm gonna mount the second radiator... where more accurately.

Hello all!

Can I be added to the club? Running a XFX Hydra edition which I managed to get for 500 pounds which is awesome!

Got a question about temps though! I'm running my 295X2 in 'trifire' with my old 290x running 4k content. I booted up Tomb Raider and was getting about 80-100fps which is awesome! After about 5 mins GPU1 hit 74 degrees and downclocks. GPU2 hovers around 72 while GPU3 (the 290x) only hits about 64 degrees. Seems high for me and I don't really want it to downclock! Am I doing something wrong with my set up or could it be a problem with the card?

I think I'm getting much higher temps than what I'm seeing online on benchmarks. Got the XFX cooling on with a noctura fan in push config exhausting out of the back of my case. Should I get rid of the 290x as that may be putting heat onto the 295x2 GPU's? First time I've got a card/cards of this power/heat so any help would be much appreciated!!

Are you running push-pull on your fans? You could be running into issues with the heat the 290x is dumping in your case.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried just push and then tried using another fan for push/pull same problem. Was worried that it may be the 290x putting the heat into the case but wasn't sure because it had such low temps compared to the 295x2. I may try removing the 290x and see if that makes a diff.
