Guys, I can get a 295x2 pretty cheap and already have 2x 290x Sapphire Tri-X 2-way running. 4-way crossfire with an extra 295x2 is possible now (just for the enthusiast fun of it lol). (Rampage IV Extreme + 3930K +corsair 750d well ventilated), but what PSU should I get? evga supernova G2/P2/ 1200W, 1300W or 1600W? The 2 sapphires are running of a old corsair HX850 now.

Most people with 2 here use 1500 or 1600 watts.

How does Far Cry 4 run in 295x2 + 290x trifire? Has anyone here tried? I want to get the game but afraid I won't be able to run it well since last time I read it still doesn't support crossfire. Anyone?

I would not buy the game right now. FC4 has lots of issues with AMD that needs to be fixed.

Far cry plays ok on 1 gpu. Crossfire is still broken.

i would recommend it unless ur fine with water temps above 30C.
I had 2x240mm + push/pull and it wasnt nuff. while looping valley water temps got up to 31/32C. Not saying furmark lol

I can tell you 4 GPUs of 290X stature & a 3930k setup aka pretty much my setup, draws at least 1300W if not more from the wall, and that was on a PSU that has 91+% efficiency while pulling that much wattage. So I'd recommend a hefty unit of at least 1300W. I updated to a LEPA G 1600W. I do NOT recommend this PSU, it's wires suck butt, plugs are stiff & you can actually cut yourself trying to unplug them if you're not careful cuz they're that hard to unplug.
