Yeap.

My Red Modded 290's at 1075/1350 in CF score better than a 295 x2 in most tests I've seen.

I'm a little desepcionado by low fps that I have. The graph is 1080p ultra settings but with HBAO + and Enhanced Godrays Impact.
Overall average is 50 fps and have parts 40 and up to 30.
The problem is ubisoft? amd driver?
this game does not work well with CF?
I played call of duty modern advance and up to 100 fps, but with no fc4.
The rest of my team is very powerful, 4820k and 16gb ram memory

FC4 is known to be buggy for red or green, another rushed ubisoft product that frankly is trash,

people just need to stop buying ubi products untill they clean up their acts, but as it stands they can rush products out that are not complete or optimized, and sell alot of them, so they will just keep doing it

If not work the CF should show a core function and the other at 0%?

The drivers probably initialize the 2nd card, but the game is ignoring it.

It isn't using the 2nd GPU. If you were monitoring core clocks, it would be at 300mhz. I have been getting 45-65 at the ultra preset with no Nvidia goodies at 1440p on just one GPU.

Question for y'all as I'm testing my first card now and I've never had these before, wondering what y'all's experiences have been. What is your usual idle temps?

Right now I'm idling at 34-38C & the highest loads I've seen thus far are in the high 50s (keep in mind my case flow is godly).

I have the radiator mounted at the top of my case as once I go QuadFire I plan to have one mounted on back, one mounted up top, with the top card being the one mounted on top & the bottom card mounted on back.

Upside down pic ftw. I'll post up some installed pictures once they're in their final form. Right now I'm testing each card individually before I go Quad.

Mine idles at 32/34 with max load temps at 68/70 on a game that really cranks both GPUs close to 100% such as Shadow of Mordor or a benchmark like Valley. I switched my fan for push/pull corsair 120 SP performances with the one fan connected to my board just running in a standard fan level. Most of the times it is in the 60s.

My temps are similar. Highest I've seen is 73 after letting the Valley run for a while.

Well so far I haven't even seen 60C yet and that's through quite a few runs of the various 3DMarks. I'm fixing to put on Watch_Dogs & give'er a look see, see if we can't level some serious load to these bad boys.

I did come up with an interesting (messy looking but very efficient) way of mounting them though, check it out lol:

Edit: Power draw peaked out about 1200W at the wall for those curious, so probably about 1050W actual, and that's with my CPU @ 4.2GHz, so not full bore, but that was on 3DMark FireStrike Extreme, so definitely not light load on the GPUs lol

So I'm considering going water cooling on my 295x2 (and just leaving air cooling on my 290x). Never done water cooling before so looking for advice.

My case is a HAF X so I should be able to fit everything in. I have speced up the following WC components after doing some online research and wanted to make sure I wasn't going down totally the wrong path! If you have any advice on different components etc. it that would be much appreciated as well!

- EK Water Blocks EK-FC R9-295X2 - Acetal+Nickel
- XSPC D5 Dual Bay Reservoir/Pump Combo V2
- XSPC RX360 Triple Fan Radiator V3 (Noctura fans in Push/Pull)
- Koolance CPU-380A Water Block (AMD FX9370 Processor)
- Monsoon 16/11mm (ID 7/16 OD 5/8) Free Center Compression Fitting Six Pack - Green
- Mayhems Ultra Pure H2O 5Ltr
- XSPC HighFlex Hose 7/16" ID, 5/8" OD, 15.9/11.1mm, 2m, Green/UV Green
- Mayhems Fine Silver Kill Coil

As I say, totally new to water cooling so if I've made any glaring errors I'm happy to learn smile.gif
