[Official] AMD R9 295X2 Owners Club - Page 806

Sorry for the poor quality picture.

Diamond R9 295x2, bought open box refurb from Microcenter for $510. Being both of those, I opted for the 2 year warranty laughingsmiley.gif

I've been working on getting my overclocks as high as possible, and so far I have it at +80mV, +50% power, 1125MHz core, 1625 MHz RAM. I'm still trying to push it further, and then I'll try to cut back some power and see where that leads me. This card is keeping me running quite well on three 1080p screens, I've only had a few issues with thermal throttling. Since moving it to the top of my case with a bitfenix spectre pro pwm pulling and the stock fan pushing, it's been staying a bit cooler.

One thing I've been wondering... Are there any perks to the Sapphire OC BIOS other than the stock speeds? I'm not too worried about flashing my bios if it so, but I'd rather not waste my time if not.

Reporting back. I am happy to say that my return of my original 295x went smoothly through ebay and I received a full refund in my account. I am also happy to say the replacement I received is in fully functioning order, and crossfire enabled by default, with no hoops to jump through. I'm finally rocking a fully functional r9 295x!

Thanks everyone!

I think you would have a lot of issues due to not having enough power due to rails.

I just trade my GTX 970 for R9 295x2 No cash added just straight trade that's the best deal I got right now. Almost double my performance and i can now actually play 4k games no more of that 3.5GB memory

How the hell did you do that?

Saying the 970 is 3.5GB is like saying 2x2GB dual channel memory is 2GB.
