When I bought my 295X2 everyone was like, yeah lets try OC hard, sapphire OC bios here and there.
And now when we have the ability to rly look into bios and edit it noone seem to care
The more pll run the application and show the results the better for us all. We will get better understanding of these cards.
But, maybe, noone is interested in knowing
For now I can tell you, sapphire OC bios only differs in MHz and power limits.
(200W/200W/136A vs 202W/202W/137A)
Stock 290X is 208W/208W/200A.
Now if you want to know what is the default voltage for your card you need to run EVV application than shows you DPM7(3D) voltage.
This is variable voltage and depends on several things(Asic, default clock...).
Variable means, several cards can have different voltages.
In general, 295X2 have higher voltages than 290X and even higher than my Ares III. It's usually 1.25v. You will not thave this voltage when running 3D application due to Vdroop. It will maybe be 1.225 or so.
My EVV is
GPU1: Hawaii=1.19375v / 1030MHz(DPM7) / 0x32D (Lkg)
GPU2: Hawaii=1.225v / 1030MHz(DPM7) / 0x321 (Lkg)
Lkg value can be translated into Asic.
Higher the asic->lower the DPM7 voltage
