No this is just for Installation Will be running it with RM1000 PSU.

So even for installation do i need more power ???

If crossfire works in every title that you play, the 295x2 is still more powerful than any other gpu. If crossfire doesn't work and you are limited to one onboard gpu, then 390x, fury and fury x should outperform the 295x2.

290x isn't that bad compared to the 390X they are pretty much the same card
post #8087 of 9145
390x has better memory modules which clock higher then 290x, unless you got lucky on your 290x with memory clock. so the 390x will be faster on stock then 290x.

I dont think its about modules themselves. They use differen(better) timings thus better scores.
U can mod your 290x bios to use the better timigs as well...The difference is a few % in performance.
Also 390X has higher default voltage(afaik) and some cards have higher aux voltage too.

anyway...

After my win crashed due to AMD drivers I moved to win10.
I tried the newest beta 15.11 drivers but they not working fine for me. The card is not holding clocks at all. GPU usage is baaaaad.

I reverted back to official 15.7.1 and all is good. Even better than on win 7.
Very pleased.

Clocks are 100% now.
Voltage regulation is awesome.
27500GPU points in FS! yay

I will continue tweaking the card. Hopefully I can do 1250MHz, then I can start tweaking mems(with gupsterg's help smile.gif )

EDIT://
it actually looks like "freesync" is causing all the issues... rolleyes.gif

I am currently using the 15.7.1 drivers with Windows 10. Whenever my computer goes to sleep, the display does not turn back on after waking back up. I have tried multiple cables and monitors, but nothing seems to work. I disable hybrid sleep and still have the same issue. The only solution is to power off the computer and turn it back on, then the video output comes back.

Before I send the card into Althon Micro, I thought I would check here to see if anyone had any insight. Other than this issue, my Sapphire R295X2 has been rock solid.

do u have Internal PLL Overvoltage enabled? (in bios)

This might be causing issues with sleep..
