Software on the consoles is pretty dead right now, the good stuff will start to come out in 2015.

Wasn't halo a launch game? Or close to it?

*edit went and Googled it. It was.

My statements did not include "there's no such thing as a good launch game".

I like Forza 5, pretty much nothing else interests me right now.

Resogun is a lot of fun and free with ps+, you have to like pew pew games though. I bought it for future exclusives like KH3. Depending on the location an extra blu ray player can be nice as well.

Also it does seem to largely be sold out at brick and mortars but amazon has had it in stock (shipped and sold by amazon) for ages, it's where I got mine.

In case you guys missed it, official X1 numbers were also released. Microsoft stated that 5 million units have been shipped to retailers. To recap, PS4 has sold 7 million units to consumers. Also, surprisingly, PS4 sold more units in March than X1 (X1 was expected to sell more in March due to Titanfall). The gaming industry is bigger than it ever has been cheers.gif

For awhile there my ps4 was not seeing much use at all, I was disappointed with both Bf4 and Killzone so I had been playing free ps+ games on the ps3. Now that has changed with ff14 coming out on the system, which they did a fantastic job of, and MLB the Show next month. I don't see why so many people complain that there is not a lot of games out. Games take time to make and should not be rushed, I bought my ps4 when it first came out as an investment for knowing what is coming down the line.

Where did you see that?

I saw an article not too long ago about AMD reported making profit off of the deal. But I saw nothing about them making more than Sony. But its not hard to see that since they do business with all 3 console makers now.

And that was with the game being packed in for free. On top of a $50 price cut. Still not enough.

Are you completely missing that using the US price as a baseline will give you the least possible ammount.

It's cheaper here than anywhere else. Ergo you go with the lowest possible amount for the minimum baseline.
