This is a solid deal, $30 cheaper than Newegg, not counting the MIR, and free shipping on a very good 1kw psu. Tempting

The 850W version is also a great deal at $110 AR. Got one for myself. Hard to beat a 10 year warranty with EVGA's customer service.

You're better off with the 750W one unless you're mining or using 3+ GPUs.

The 1000W G2 has CapXon (Chinese capacitors) on the modular board. The 750W is all Japanese caps.

Since I'm new to the whole mining thing, is this good for 6 gpu mining. Hopefully r9 270x (6)

Each r9 270x(1050/1250)uses about 122w under load so for 6 card you need 732w..even a 850w psu would be enough if you dont oc too much

i have 2 powercolor r9 270x pcs+ eating up about 350w (no hard drive and a celeron), that + 2 7950s go for around 850w. I would not advice 850w for 6 r9 270x, go for 1000w to be safe. actually even 1000w would be pushing it.
