I just remounted my corsair h100i using tuniq tx-4 the first time I mounted it using tuniq tx-4 I used to much and my prime95 100% load max temperature was 69c so I then remounted it using less thermal paste and my max temp is 67c . will these temperatures with the tuniq tx-4 thermal paste get better with time ?

From latest research, it says Tuniq X4 requires no burn in period.

Hello everyone... I just replaced last night my H100i thermal paste with the Tuniq TX-4 and the most I am seeing is about 4 to 6 degress lower temps on full load using Linx and Prime 95.

I fully cleaned my CPU and the H100i waterblock with the Artic Clean Solution kit and used the Pea method to apply the Tuniq TX-4 and then the waterblock was attached and the block's screws were hand tighten by going cross section a bit at a time.

My i7-4930K CPU is currently Overclocked at 4.6GHz with a VCORE of 1.325. I am looking for a thermal paste that will lower my thermos a bit more since I am aiming to get a stable overclock of 4.7GHz.

I ran Linx for 10 executions and the highest temp on core 5 and 6 where 86C.
Prime95 is currently running for more than 6 hours and the highest temp on core 5 and 6 are 84C.

The next paste that I'm going to order and give a try is the Artic MX-4 due to the reviews that I am seeing.

The MX-4 is actually a more expensive version of you know what..? The TX-4.

I guarantee you'll see no difference. I tested them both and yeah, why pay more for the MX-4?

thanks for the comment...I'm not sure if $9.00 for the MX-4 for 4 grams is expensive. I already purchased the MX-4 at that price and will be giving it a try myself this weekend just to see what happens. THe tuniq was actually $14.99 for 4grams, hence the Tuniq was more expensive.

My bad for assuming the MX-4 would be more expensive in your place. Because in a lot of places that I looked, the MX-4 was/is more expensive than the TX-4.

Regardless, since you already bought the MX-4 then that's pretty much it. Have fun!
