Wow that's old...

AMD should be supporting GPU-bound titles akin to World in Conflict (very relevant with Putin's actions btw).

To be honest, I still think Supcom was still ahead of time in terms of scale and functionality. Still occasionally plays and mod the game during free time. I don't think there would be a real true successor anytime soon....StarSwarm engine looks promising and Planetary Annihilation is just simplified design of interplanetary warfare.

It was CPU bound like crazy though... I remember it was Core2Quad Q6600 era.

Wasn't there a sequel Supreme Commander 2? I guess that didn't pan out well.

Yes indeed! My 3570K struggles at stock clocks in very heavy battles ...I get huge gains from overclocking biggrin.gif
I wonder how well it does in Sandy and Ivy-E...I still consider Supcom a relevant CPU benchmark. A very underrated one.

8 vs 8 players with 1000 units limit each side = Oh my drool.gif I have yet try that to see how well my CPU handles it. biggrin.gif

I second that.

Hell even if they offered BF3 there would be people lining up to get them.

Well the new bundle is active and now im super disappointed. My Gold reward coupon expired even though the marking said FOREVER. Im so happy that I don't think I am going to buy AMD stuff ever again. After all if they can lie about this what else can they do. And incase people were wondering all their marketing said save your game coupon intill there are games you want. If they had called it the Never Settle till december 31st bundle I would have used it and gotten at least one new game instead of none. And incase anyone was wondering this new bundle expires august 31st so they decided to lie again.

Lol. Is this a real comment or is this just sarcasm?
