X79 Deluxe BIOS version

Hi guys I've just joined the club. I got the mobo on Monday and am waiting for the cooler to install the 4930k and give it a go. However, there's no sticker on the mobo that shows the BIOS verision as it is apparently the case with some mobos, the last digits on a sticker with a barcode on the board itself show the BIOS version.

I found no sticker on my board. CPU support tab on ASUS page for the motherboard says i7 4930k will work with BIOS 0401 and the earliest version of BIOS listed under the Drivers & Tools is 0401. Does that mean the board will POST with the CPU and I don't need to flash the BIOS thingy? Considering the risks I'd rather not do that. Or a lack of any sticker or any indication as to the BIOS version could mean the BIOS chip is blank and I DO need to flash it? Would they ship boards with no BIOS installed? I looked at the board below the model name and the revison number for the board is 1.01.

Never mind I installed the CPU and got the system going the other day. Not that anyone cared anyway, thanks!
