760ti in SLI or ....

Thread Starter
Right now i am running 560 ti in SLI.

A friend wants to sell me an NVIDIA brand 760ti brand new for $. I can then pick another one of them up and SLI THEM.

Worth it? Or better off buying one card?

I game triple 1080 monitors and play mostly MMO - RTS - MOBAS

can these cards be cooled with the kraken h10?

If you can get the card for under 200$ I'd say it'd be worth it (assuming it isn't a reference design), a 2nd one would be 250$ more
The g10 does fit the 760: https://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/138-kraken-g10-gpu-bracket.html
You could look at these as well:
http://www.overclock.net/t/1483305/windforce-hd-radeon-7950
or you may be able to find a r9 290 for under 350$ used.

What if the 760ti is reference? Straight from NVIDIA? With the h10 can still get decent clocks... Hard to pass it up for $100

for 100$ isn't that bad.
Reference designs just have lower clocks and cooling that isn't as good.
But if you are doing a reference design for 100$ and then getting the Kraken g10 it's pretty good.
Just remember your next card will clock down to your reference one.

Hard to beat any working 760 for 100$, you may not need the g10 cooler

I still plan to still use the g10,because I am going to a white and black theme. Also with two of these going to g10 route i can keep them from heating tje rest of the case up.

This was a reference card except the cooler right?
