is there anyway to average 120 fps with a r9 290 in bf4?

and this is with direct x, windows 64-bit and a i5 4670k

is this possible? I tried to adjust the settings but it seems like the fps is locked in between 70-80. Really weird

I doubt it, but disable v-sync. Make sure it's disabled in both BF4 and in the CCC.

This videos taken with MSI afterburner,so add at least 50FPS to avg posted in these videos.Test range BF4


Of course you can with R9 290 ,DX11 with low settings its not pretty but I did a low video setting,looks like around 140FPS avg.

R9 290 crossfire with max setting except only 100% whatever its called around 120FPS avg.

That weird, I play at 1080p at I get easily above that... Unless your playing 1440p. I would what @TwoCables said, check is v-sync is disabled.
